Dholera Will Be Ready by June 2026

Gandhinagar, Gujarat — In a major announcement that’s creating buzz across India’s development and investment circles, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has confirmed that Dholera will be ready by June 2026, with hospitals, schools, and other key infrastructure nearing completion.

The statement came during a one-to-one meeting with Keiichi Ono, Ambassador of Japan, at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit, where both leaders discussed the rapid progress of Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) — a cornerstone of Gujarat’s vision to become a global innovation and manufacturing hub.

Once envisioned as a desert transformation project, Dholera is now emerging as India’s first true greenfield smart city, featuring cutting-edge urban planning, industrial zones, residential sectors, and social infrastructure.
According to CM Patel, by June 2026, Dholera will be equipped with state-of-the-art healthcare facilities, modern educational institutions, and advanced utilities — making it fully ready to welcome industries and residents alike.

Japan has been one of Gujarat’s strongest development partners since the first Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Ambassador Keiichi Ono expressed gratitude to the state government for its ongoing support to Japanese companies operating in Gujarat and reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to contribute to Dholera’s industrial ecosystem — including the rapidly growing semiconductor and electronics sectors.

With infrastructure deadlines set and international collaboration increasing, this is the right time for investors to look at Dholera’s potential.
